The ANS Story

ANS Mechanic Services is a mechanic workshop owned and operated by Cindy Laus. From a very young age Cindy had an obsession for understanding how things worked and moved, often disassmebling and testing things a parent wouldn’t be too happy about. Combine this with growing up in a household of brothers and being drawn match-box cars , hot wheels and her BMX bicycle - her interest in how things worked quickly transitioned over into all things cars and motorbikes.

When Cindy reached her late teens, she started going along and helping out at her families-mechanic workshop. Here her passion and inquisitive nature for mechanics grew and she commenced her apprenticeship. When qualified, Cindy worked as a mechanic under Dalibor 'Dale' Laus in their small family run mechanic workshop for over 15 years. In June 2022, with the passing of Dale, the family workshop unfortunately closed the doors of what was known as ANS Mechanical.

A short time later, not wanting to disappoint her customers and wanting to carry out her dream of having her own workshop, Cindy opened what is now known as ANS Mechanic Services.

Cindy’s Vision:

  1. To have a honest and reliable workshop that operating with ‘old fashioned’ values combined with modern day equipment and resources

  2. Operate a mechanical workshop that provides a exceptional customer experience in a comfortable atmosphere

  3. Remove the technical confusion of car servicing and maintenance and empower her customers

  4. Play her part in breaking industry bias of a male dominated field to contribute to a brighter future for the automotive industry
